Plan pickup and delivery.
Give each stop the details it needs, from the shipping address to the unloading arrangements.

Have these details ready.
- Correct addresses and shipping or receiving contacts
- Pickup date, ready time and location hours
- Dock access, liftgate needs and other handling requirements
1.Confirm both stops
Start with the pickup and delivery ZIPs, then confirm the exact addresses and location details required for booking. Add a reachable shipping contact at pickup and a receiving contact at delivery. For repeat locations, use saved details as a starting point and check that contacts, addresses and access notes are still correct.
2.Agree on timing
Confirm when the freight will be packed and ready, and when each location can accommodate the shipment. Enter the pickup timing requested by the form. Review the selected service’s transit terms and appointment requirements with the receiving location. A requested pickup window is not a guarantee of a specific arrival time.
3.Prepare for loading and unloading
Check dock access at both locations and identify who will load or unload the freight. If a stop needs a liftgate or other handling service, include that requirement before comparing quotes. A liftgate moves freight between the truck and ground level; confirm that the selected equipment and service fit your actual load and access needs.
See Carrier pickup and handling guidance for guidance.
4.Review the shipment before booking
In ShippClub, review your stops, timing, equipment, freight and the current eligible quote before booking. Check disclosed fees and the carrier’s paperwork requirements. Available documents appear in the booked shipment record as they are issued. After booking, use dated carrier reports to review recorded status. Keep regular locations and shipment templates available for the next draft, then confirm its new timing and quote.
